This series consists of files of four public works projects undertaken at the Pierre Indian School. The projects include the construction of a heating plant, remodeling of the school shop, demolition and construction of a dormitory, and road construction within the school campus. Included in the project files are project proposals, weekly project construction reports, engineering drawings and blueprints, and correspondence. Some of the projects were undertaken jointly by Emergency Conservation Work (ECW), Civilian Conservation Corps - Indian Division (CCC-ID), and National Youth Administration (NYA) units operating at the school.
